HP SUM - Errors on Inventory - CIM Service??

We are using HP Smart Update Manager to keep our servers up to date in terms of Firmware etc. When we are adding a node we are adding the hot IP address and telling it to connect to vcentre.

The error is showing as:

Self inventory Error. Failed to execute a component

This error may be due to stale data in the VMware CIM Service.Try restarting the CIM Service and then running the update again.To restart the CIM service on the ESXi host,login and run the following command on the console /etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog restart.

I already restarted the server and the restarted the above suggested in the error message.

I am not sure if anyone is familiar with this and what it could be?

A future release of Smart Update Manager (SUM) will correct this issue.
