Guest OS Customization with REST API

Hello,

i deployed a VM from a OVF-Template with the REST Api. But now i need to get a saved Guest-Customization-File over that VM. Manually i do the following: right-click on the VM (powered off) and then Guest OS > Customize Guest OS > select the saved specifications.

Is there a way i can do this with the REST Api for vCenter?

Best Regards,

Michael

I'm pretty sure that hasn't bee implemented yet in the REST API. Keep in mind the REST API is very, very basic at this point in time. Not even close to 100% coverage of vSphere.

Hi daphnissov,

thanks for your answer. I will search for an other way to bind the Customization to my VM. Till now the REST API served all my needs, i hope vmWare implements that soon in the REST API.
