I'm trying (unsucessfully) to get the cert automation tool to work for use with a new VCSA deployment. (5.5 Update 1b). I'm hoping someone can assist.
I've been searching for info on the cert automation tool, and haven't been able to find any pre-reqs for installation - specifically in regards to JRE.
There's no reference to a JRE here --> http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=205734...
When I attempt to use the ssl-updater.bat I get an error JRE bundled with the VMware Services supported by the tool is not installed. This is a prerequisite for running the tool.
I didn't have any java components installed, given that it's not in the documentation, Is it a case that you are expected have to have an full install of vcenter on the same server that you are attempting to use the cert automation tool ?
