Generating certificates for use with the VMware SSL Certificate Automation Tool

Hi,

I am trying to use SSL certificate automation tool. Our vCenter Server is configured in Heartbeat mode. When I am trying to generate certificate signing request (CSR) for Single sing-on (SSO), 1st option is to provide FQDN. I want to know which FQDN should I provide, node name or virtual name.

Also I will be testing to use this tool for other components like, updatemanager, inventory service, vcenter server service, web client. Does any one have experience how to use this tool?

Thanks

I have sucessfully replaced certificates for all services. I have used FQDN of the virtual name and not the node name to generate the CSR. Thanks
