For VCSA 6.7 installation, is there a way to restart Step 2 without having to deploy the vcenter vm?

After succesfully installing the VSCA vm, Step 2 has failled due to DNS issues. Those issues are now corrected, and I would like to know if it possible to restart Step2 without having to install a new vcenter vm.

Thanks.

The problem is that when I do that I'm redirected to: https://<VCSA_IP_or_FQDN>:5480/configure/#/installer?locale=en  and I get the same error page than just after the error:

I think this error was due to incorrect DNS entries, but now those are solved, and what I would like to do is to retry Step 2, without hacer to deploy a new appliance.

Thank you.

From my experience, starting directly with Step 2 is only an option, if  you stopped the setup after step 1.

Once Step 2 has failed, it's definitely better to start over.

Hi,

If the installation of the second phase was not successful, you can resume the installation by connecting from

https: // <VCSA_IP_or_FQDN>: 5480

Yes, I had this same reverse DNS lookup issue, wich is solved. I think I´ll start over the whole intallation as André suggested. It's just that to do that I have to go to the server's room, which is in anoter buliding, and that's why I wanted to avoid it...

Thank you all,

Regards
