No pblm with 6.5A, it works (fail with 6.5B with same param)
Got the same problem. What kind of storage are you deploying on? internal/shared/vSAN ?
I'm trying to deploy vSAN on a standard alone host (first host in the coming cluster)
By the way I'm deploying vCenter Server 6.5.0d
I ended up deploying 6.5a and then upgrade to 6.5d. vSAN was setup during the failed attempts to deploy 6.5d, so didn't have to bother with that, when deploying 6.5a.
I have the same problem, not using vSAN. Trying to install VSCA on an empty ESXi with 32GB RAM and 2 * 250 GB SSD as two datastores.

You have probably either provided incorrect values during the installation wizard or do not have necessary, core infrastructure in place to support deployment of the vCSA, namely: DNS (forward and reverse), NTP, and time synchronization across the ESXi host, appliance, and workstation from which the installer was launched. To know more, please show the entire set of screenshots that display the values you used during installation and verify DNS and NTP.
This was the solution that worked for me: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2147908
This is a new article with solution for the error. See here: "Failed to initialize Secure Token Server" while upgrading VC to 6.7U3
