Hi,
Following another topic related to 6.5.0 Update01 content, I was trying to upgrade my ESXi host to that level (Build 5969303)
My current configuration consists of :
- vCSA Version 6.5.0 Build 4944578
- ESXi hosts running VMware ESXi, 6.5.0 build 4887370
I have downloaded the ISO Image on a server : VMware-VMvisor-Installer-6.5.0.update01-5969303.x86_64.iso.
I proceed as follows :
- Connect to vCSA
- Click on the Update Manger icon from the Home screen
- Click on the Go To Admin View button
- Once in Admin view, select the ESXi Images tab and click on Import ESXi Image
- Click on Browse and navigate to the folder where the image is stored
- Select the ISO file and click OK
Once the OK done, I think that very shortly (during few milliseconds) I can see the upload progress bar, but immediately nothing else.
The upload failed for an unknown reason. I try to review the Events on the vSphere client web but there is nothing.
Nothing also in the log located under /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server.
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong places.
Any thoughts why I get this failure to import the ISO?
