Am getting a below error, while powering on a VM, need suggestions on actions to be taken. Its a production machine, please help.
below is the error.
Failed to start the virtual machine.
Module DiskEarly power on failed.
can you browse the Datastore that your VM is on and list the files you see in there and post it?
Please find the file extensions below.
.vmx
vmware-1.log
vmware.log
flat.vmdk
.vmsd
Is that all you have, post snapshot of error and VM files on datastore.

is it a vm which has been created on Workstation?
If so you need to convert it using converter standalone first.
What version of ESXi are you running?
