Hello all,
we would like to activate the Multifactor Authentication for the Login into our three vCenters to reduce the risk of catching user credentials by a hacker. The current plan is, to use our YubiKey SmartCard USB-Token to authenticate the according users/administrators.
While reading the documentation of Vmware, some topics are not that clear:
- Can we use our internal PKI (Active Directory) for the User certificates?
- Can we exclude some special accounts which are used for automatic tasks? These accounts are also Active-Directory accounts but running jobs in the background and are not able to make MFA (because the softwares / Scripts does not support MFA).
