do you remember making any modifications in Management network part of it?

if no changes were made then, just Management Agent restart would resolve the issue.

go into DCUI, under Network Settings you have 'restart management agent', try that and see if that helps.

Try this troubleshooting path:

- Connect via DCUI and restart mgmt agent (via ILO/DRAC/IMM...  or via keyboard and monitor in front of your server)

- Test connection via DCUI (Test and/or via shell -> simple ping)

- see physical NIC activity (if phy nic are not shared with VM traffic)

- verify external switch: in some cases wrong stp design could couse a traffic interruption after other switch connection (depending on your organization try to ask help to your network administrator)

Check the below port are open on esxi server

These ports are mandatory:

  • 80 - HTTP (TCP/UDP)
  • 902 - vCenter Server / VMware Infrastructure Client - UDP for ESX/ESXi Heartbeat (UDP and TCP)
  • 903 - Remote Access to VM Console (TCP)
  • 443 - Web Access (TCP)
  • 27000, 27010 - License Server (Valid for ESX/ESXi 3.x hosts only)

Try to create another management interface in standard switch and try to connect again
