Essentials And Clusters - is there any point?

I'm using Essentials (not Essentials Plus) at the moment (under the ROBO licensing scheme) and I'm wondering whether there is any point in setting up a cluster of ESX hosts.

Is any of the functionality that clustering offers available in under the Essentials license?

As there is no any cluster feature offered in Essentials license, it is not going to help if you create cluster of ESXi host.
