Are you able to access the below link from your browser directly? What's the status there?

https://10.230.210.193/cgi-bin/host-seed.cgi?path=/vmfs/volumes/64cb00be-21e2a42d-e0c4-005056854998/...

It seems that credentials are required to access the depot file. Have you tried providing credentails while seting up offline depot in vlcm?

A few days back, I have updated the vcenter using the offline bundle and used an httpd server on a linux VM and it worked for me.  You can also try that if you have any linux resource available.

You can provide credentail like this and check again:

https://root:password@<esxi-ip>/cgi-bin/host-seed.cgi?path=/var/vmware/lifecycle/hostSeed/tsdmVib.zi...

Regarding httpd server, if you are familiar with httpd/apache server you can configure it on any linux vm or iis on a windows vm. This is  simple a web server you have to configure and access your zip file through it.

Hi @Sujith_AS , seems little confusion here, please make sure:

1. If you are using local web server for downloading depot file, don't use proxy as it's directly reachable.

2. If you are using proxy then download depot image from Internet/vmware public depot server instead of local server.

Also please make sure reachablilty is there without any restriction like firewall OR required ip and ports are allowed if any firewall or acl is there.

I would suggest to patch vCenter to the newest version, I assume we are discussing here vSphere7, right?
