Error when trying to log into vCenter 4.1. U3 using vClient

On all of our Windows 2008 R2 Terminal Servers when trying to log into vCenter 4.1. U3 using the vClient, we are experiencing the following message pop up intermittently and when logged into vCenter. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced the same or similar issue. This has been going on for 3 months and we have a call outstanding with VMware but just reaching out to the wider community for any ideas. Note. This doesn't happen at all when using the vClient on vCenter directly. No firewalls and thought it might be a proxy issue but no proxy set anymore.

Reads like a network related issue as the underlying connection is being closed.

Would you happen to have the SR ID to have a look at the actual logs?

Are you experiancing any network packet drops. vClient connection is managed by process named hostd, can you check the hostd.log under /var/log/vmware

It can be a lot of things. Check:

- If there is no duplicate IP on the network (the Windows 2008 TS IPs);

- If there is no antivirus installed on the TSs. If there is, try to disable it and check if this resolves.

If you can paste here the vpxd.log right after the failure with a timestamp, it would help.
