Error on recompose (PBM error occurred during PostProcessReconfigureSpec: Unexpected SOAP fault)

I am attempting to recompose a VDI pool, but attempts to do say result in failure with the following error:

A general system error occurred:  PBM error occurred during

PostProcessReconfigureSpec: Unexpected SOAP fault:

ns0:RequestFailed; request failed.

I was unable to find the message in the community posts using the search feature. Any help is appreciated.

Restart sps service and retry.

If you still see the same issue, attach sps and vpxd log to the thread.
