Issue 1 : the error in VSA1 host

Looks like the error in VSA1 host is due to the Letter Case in switch name VSA-VMotion. Please make sure the letters marked in red are in CAPITAL letters, ie,  VSA_VMotion.

Issue 2 : warnings in VSA1 and VSA2.

Please make sure vSwitch0 has both the Uplinks LIVE. ie vmnic0 and vmni2 are connected.

Can you post the error that you are seeing while selecting the host during deploy?

Agree with yezdi. vMotion networking label should be same. I beleive it should solve your issue. VLAN does not correlate to the error.

Dear yezdi:

Thx your help,

I fix the ltetter VSA-VMotion ,the error was sloved.

But,No there is another error  during my installing procss.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16503603/q4_e.pdf

I change my ip 192.168.50.80 to 192.168.100.90 for all period.

Q1.Where does the subnet ip :192.168.100.0 come from ?

Becase ,iI show error when I want to  install the VSA .

I am sure my vCenter and Host had correct ip,subnet mask,getway....

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=200483...

another info:

http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.vsa.doc_10%2FGUID-1F1A4FFF-D6A8-4FB1...

It saied that can't use 192.168.X.X private IP? Is it Sure?

Q2.IF I don’t use DHCP ,can I set the vSphere Feature ID address ,and Back-end ip Address by myself?

And doe’t use VLAN ID ,if I don’t have it?

Q3. one Host has 4 port for uplink.

now  ,I just uplink as below:

vmnic0  --UPLINK

vmnic2

-------

vmnic1  --UPLINK

vmnic3

Now i had change the uplink as: TYPE1

vmnic0  --UPLINK

vmnic2  --UPLINK

-------

vmnic1

vmnic3

----------------------------------------OR TYPE2

vmnic0  --UPLINK

vmnic2  --UPLINK

-------

vmnic1--UPLINK

vmnic3

dear yezdi:

finally ,i found the soluation in my case as:

cannot createvsa cluster:cluster's subnet 192.168.100.0 is invalid, shoud not be 192.168.100.0

I use the same ip range in the BACK-END IP ADDRESS.

if I use 192.168.100.XXX

then my BACK-END IP ADDRESS can be any 192.168.XXX.XXX ,jsut not 192.168.100.XXX

WHY?

THX!
