Ephemeral port binding needed for VCSA?

I was of the understanding that I needed to have ephemeral binding for the port group that the VCSA uses. Is that correct? If it is, can I switch it back to static? According to the KB article at http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102231..., ephemeral doesn't seem like a robust choice for the distributed switch that the VCSA uses. I am using Vsphere 6.0.

It is required.  When going through the installer, only port groups which are ephemeral will be given to you as an option.  I'm not sure if it can be changed after the install or not, but for the install it definitely has to be set to ephemeral - no binding.
