ESX VNC Server with cut/paste

We are using the native VNC connection to guests on on the ESX.  The VNC server seems to be restricting certain functionality like cut/paste, which works fine on other VNC servers (like REAL).

Do you know if there are any configuration parameters that can be adjusted to control the VNC server and allow for cut/paste?
