Duplicate entries in tasks

vCenter Server 7 Essentials
For several days, two entries appear every few minutes in events on one host:

09/09/2021, 9:16:44 AM User root@127.0.0.1 logged in as pyvmomi Python/3.8.3 (VMkernel; 7.0.2; x86_64)

09/09/2021, 9:16:44 AM User root@127.0.0.1 logged out (login time: Thursday, September 9, 2021 9:17:46 AM UTC, number of API invocations: 7, user agent: pyvmomi Python/3.8.3 (VMkernel; 7.0.2; x86_64))

How to turn it off ?

This is related to the Virtual Nic function in your iLo.  Please see the following two articles for resolution:

I have seen these solutions, but I have no vnicen.sh file on my event-generating host.

The Kb was specific to HP . We have seen this with other hardware vendors even. What is the hardware vendor here ?

This can happen with any hardware. It's some script running which is loggging-in/out constantly.

The hardware supplier is Dell.
