Downloaded VMware vSphere 5.5, VMware vCenter Server 5.5 Update 2b (English), installs vCenter Server 5.5.0b

I have a new, nothing connected, fresh, vCenter installed on a MS Server 2008, able to login and see everything is empty, which is fine.

I installed VMware vCenter 5.1 and upgraded to 5.5 and then try to do the upgrade 2b, but it only updates to 5.5.0b.  I have the right ISO.

My vSphere Client is 1474107, which I dont know what build it is or can find online.

Any ideas?

Do you see any errors/warnings? What's the final build number for vCenter Server?

With the required installation packages used for the upgrade/patch, you should end up with the build numbers mentioned in http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1014508.

No error warnings found or appeared.

Final number is 1476237, corresponds to vCenter Server 5.5.0b

for vSphere, I have 2175560, there is no build number found on the web page.
