Disk Expansion of a converted computer to VMWare

HI,

we've converted the physical computer to virtual machine, all OK. But then when tried to expand the VHD, we can't "find" (don't show) the option to expand the VHD from the converted machine.Sem título.jpg

I can't see from your picture but does but does your disk file looking something like this <hostname>-000001.vmdk?  If that is the case you can't expand the drive because it's running off a snapshot copy.  If not you can do a storage vMotion and expand the disk that way.  Also make sure you have the appropriate permissions to expand the disk.  You can try creating snapshot and deleting it to see if that clears it up.

Really thanks, we didn't see that cause we haven't configured the snapshot in this machine. But after what you said, we found that our data protector has take a snapshot of the virtual machine. So thanks very much. @minor76
