Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel after applying KB3814779, November 2016 Security Monthly Quality Rollup

Hello. We currently have a single physical VMware vCenter Server 5.1.0 running version 3d Build 3814779. We are using the VMware vSphere Client version 5.1.0 Build 3814204 to connect to the vCenter server. If Windows 7 clients install the Microsoft Windows Update KB3197868 November, 2016 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems on their computers, vSphere will no longer connect to the vCenter server. We get this error message, " An unknown connection error occurred.  The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.” If we uninstall KB3197868 from the Windows 7 client vSphere successfully connects to the vCenter server again.

As per me,

Nov patch no longer exists as it has been recalled by MS –

a.       https://www.askwoody.com/2016/microsoft-pulls-ms-3197868-the-win7-security-rollup-that-blew-apart-ma...

b.       Search for 3197868 @ https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletins.aspx.

It seems, it is unrelated to KB 3814779

Overall, As per me, this is an issue from MS side, thus uninstalling the issue may fix this problem.

Let me know if you need any more info
