Have a quick question, are there are any potential repercussions from converting a VM to a Template that has a snapshot associated with the VM? I have multiple Template VM's in a vSphere 7 update 2 Distributed Port Group environment that were converted to a template while it had a snapshot. We are encountering an issue with numerous ports still showing as open even though the VM doesn't exist and was curious if this may be part of the problem. Also wondering if this could be a an issue with the Ephemeral/Static assignment on the dvPortGroup.
Any info/guidance would be appreciated.
