Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) information is not showing on vmnic's

Hello,

I would like to see Port Number & Physical switch IP from Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) on vmnic.
while looking at the CDP Properties of each vmnic from vSphere client it has giving me only "Cisco Discovery Portocal is not availalbe on the Physical adapter.
even tying with CLI but no luck (attaching snap) where as my other servers CDP info showing with correct.

Physical Adpater is "Emulex Corporation HP FlexFabric 10GB 2 Port 554FLB Adapter" driver is be2net, I can able to see other servers CDP info as same type of Physical adapter.

Really apppreciate if anyone can help me. my current infa as below.

1. ESXi 5.1 =  ESXi 5.1.0 1065491
2. vCenter  =  vCenter 5.1

Thanks

Pramod

Assuming the physical switch is a Cisco switch, check the physical port's settings to see whether CDP is enabled/disabled.
