Cant change time zone on 6.5 appliance

Currently I have an issue with 2 of our VCenter servers that I am unable to change the time zone using Appliance Management.  When I log into Appliance Management and click on time...time zone shows blank.  Time Synchronization looks good except it is on the default UTC time.  I try to select a new time zone in the drop box but it was goes right back to blank.  Wanted to make sure this was corrected before upgrading to 6.5 U1.  Anybody else come across this and has a fix?  I opened a ticket and hopefully have a resolution soon.

Have a fix after talked with a tech.  Initially he found a KB article that said

"By design, the Timezone is set to UTC and cannot be changed in the vCenter Server Appliance console."

The technician didn't think the KB article was 100% correct so we did the below

1. SSH console to the VCenter Server
2. cd /opt/vmware/share/vami
3. ./vami_set_timezone_cmd Time Zone
   1. Example ./vami_set_timezone_cmd US/Eastern

Now when I go to the Appliance Management console I see the correct time zone in the Time section.  And I can now also use the drop down box to select other time zones.
