  • 1.  Cannot use the FQDN in the UI Installer

Hello eveyone, I'm having problems during the deployment of the VCSA 6.5 with UI installer.

For some weird reason, it won't accept numbers in the FQDN: our domain name it's grupoadeslas.2k3, and the installer keep saying invalid FQDN, without even try to resolv it.

Both DNS and PTR record are created.

    Any thoughs?

    Thanks!

From the screenshot it looks like you have spaces in the system name before and after the first "." (period). Is this the case?

    Hello, no spaces at all.

    Thanks.

Just as a test, if you change the "2k3" at the end to "local" does it succeed in validation?

Yes, tested already, tries to resolve the DNS.

Then it doesn't like your TLD identifier. I'm not sure what you can do about it other than open a SR and see if VMware have a workaround for that.

Looks like this as you said, but not sure if I can bypass that.
