Cannot remove a VCenter 5.5 from the Vsphere Client 5.5

I am testing the version 5.5, one of the tests was created a secondary VCenter server in linked mode.

I used for a while but decided to uninstall, I isolated the linked mode and uninstalling all the VMware software.

But now, when started the vSphere Web Client I received this error message:

Could not connect to one or more vCenter Server systems:

https://name of the secondary vcenter:443/sdk

I try to find a solution to unregister the but all are for the 5.1 version (admin-app) or scripts (admin-cmd) but nothing for 5.5

Any thoughts?

Unregister a vCenter Server System from the vSphere Web Client

You can unregister a vCenter Server system from the vSphere Web Client if you no longer want users to use that vSphere Web Client instance to connect to the vCenter Server system.

Log-in to the system on which the vSphere Web Client is installed. You cannot unregister a vCenter Server system from a remote system.

Ensure that you have login credentials with Administrator privileges for the vCenter Server system that you are registering.

1

Open a Web browser and enter the URL for the administration tool: https://localhost:9443/admin-app or https://127.0.0.1:9443/admin-app.

Use the localhost or loopback address to access the administration tool instead of using the server IP address.

2

Select the vCenter Server system to unregister.

3

Click Unregister vCenter Server.

4

Type the username and password and click Unregister.

Try this method please and let me know if it helped u out

Best regards

Your Oscar

Oscar, this way is only for a VSphere Web Client 5.1, its not available for 5.5, because that, I asked to the forum.
