Cannot change name of VCSA

Hi All,

Need some assistance. I am trying to configure HA for the VCSA 6.5 appliance I deployed, but a requirement is that the appliance not have an capital letters in its name, which mine does.

I've tried to change the name in the appliance console, but it defaults to localhost.localdom, no matter how many times I try to change things.

I have also tried to change the name according to the TN below, but the hostname_info.json file appears to be blank. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The error I receive when trying to invoke HA is:

Error: Failed to get management network information. verify if management interface (nic0) is configured correctly and is reachable

Thanks!

Got it working...I had to revert the file to a previous version, and this allowed me to edit the server name.
