Can't login via SSH after installing vCenter

Hi,

I had two ESXi standalone hosts. Sometime ago I installed vCenter and added both hosts. They are showing up fine and all tasks using the web interface work fine.

Now I need to access the hosts using SSH to install a vib for RAID monitoring but the root password is not longer working. I'm pretty sure that the password is correct.

Does vCenter change something at the hosts like the username or the password? Is there a special way of accessing the hosts after vCenter is installed?

Thanks.

I found out that the issue happens because vCenter enable lockdown mode in all hosts. After disabling lockdown mode, I was able to login via SSH.
