Can someone please confirm if i can install Update Manager 6 on vCenter 5.5

Hi,

I have an environment wherein i need to install Update Manager, so thinking of installing Update manager 6 and i have vCenter 5.5.

So can you please confirm if i can install Update manager 6 on vCenter 5.5.

As per my understanding it will not happen but requires expert advise.

VMware Product Interoperability Matrixes shows Update manager 6 is only supported with vCenter 6.

however with some workaround you may get it running with vCenter 5.5 but that is not recommended.
