Hi gurus.
I have a vcsa that has a 100% used and when I go in there to check I have tons of "core.lwiod.xxxxx" in it, can I remove this type of file from my /stoarge/core location?
Thanks
Hello @fborges555,
Yes , you can remove these core files from /storage/core , however there are few things to consider :
1) core.lwiod indicates a crash dump from likewise which is used for VCSA to AD communication.
2) Based on the timestamps , check if these are old or newly generated.
3) If these are new , there is definitely a problem with the likewise daemon , which needs to be addressed.
4) Check the messages file under /var/log/vmware for any details.
