Can 2 VM clusters share same volume of ISCSI storage through a single LUN?

Hi VM expert,

I am new to VMware, and there are 2 VM clusters in my setup both having 3 esxi, we just got a huge storage, so my question is can I create a huge storage pool and share between 2 VM clusters through single LUN or should I create 2 different storage pools for 2 VMs and share through same LUN?

Thank you.

So you have 2 ESXi cluster and you want to connect to iSCSI storage? I would create separates LUN for each cluster.

You can map the same Volume to both cluster but its always recommended to keep separate for better management and troubleshooting.

Thank you MikeStoice, I think it is better to have 2 different pools and LUN.
