Built in and custom Accounts Information

As you aware there are many built-in accounts in vmware or vcenter like root, admin, vmware,svadmin etc. Would like to know the commmand or link from where all accounts (built in + custom) information to be display, also their password policy.

Am using vcenter 5.1 build 880146.

By default we have few roles in vcenter

First you can take clone of virtual machine power user  role in to customize name . then follow the steps on by one in the given KB link .

When we talk about SSO default user account their is build in account in 5.5 administrator@vsphere.local (as opposed to admin@system-domain in vCenter SSO 5.1). By default,

I haven't see any VMware documentation yet on this, but in SSO you should have 3 accounts:

- admin@system-domain

- krbtgt

- K/M

We should not touch the krbtgt & K/M accounts SSO Users krbtgt and K/M

SSO passwords expire after 365 days, see below Kbs related to SSO user & password policy
