Backup VCenter Server 6.5 for Windows?

Is there some simple way to backup / export the configuration of VCenter Server 6.5 for Windows?

I am trying to install the 6.7 update and it asks if 6.5 is backed up. I cannot find a way to do it.

The VMWare knowledgebase is full of info for backup of the "Appliance". I am not using an appliance, it's just a physical Windows desktop computer with VCenter installed on it. We are only using VMWare Essentials, and only have two VMWare 6.5 ESXi hypervisors.

For example, this is useless:

Back up a vCenter Server Appliance by Using the vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface

As far as I can determine, VCenter 6.5 for Windows does not have a management interface.

Hi

vCenter 6.7  for Windows is the last version that will ever be packaged for Windows.

Hi.

If you have this vCenter running as a virtual machine, then before upgrade login to ESXi host where this vCenter is running, shutdown vCenter VM and create a clone or snapshot. If you are using external database, you have to do the same with it.

If you have vCenter installed in physical server, then you need to use some third party tool for backup. Also remember of creating database backup.
