Backing up the VCSA

Hi All,

What is the correct way to backup the VCSA? If we run Veeam would this suffice in backing it up, along with the HA components? Or should it rather be scripted?

Thanks!

Craig

With Veeam you just back up the entire VM and do not quiesce it. If you're using vCHA in the mix, you need to back up the active node only. I actually contributed a PowerShell script out on VeeamHub for this scenario which dynamically modifies a job to remove the passive node.
