Appliance or Windows vCenter???

Been running with a Windows vCenter server for quite a few years now and keep upgrading the versions.  Is it a good idea or NOT to go with an Appliance vs Windows or just keep what i have??  Any comments would be helpful.  Thanks

Thank you, Perry

It's highly recommended you not use the Windows vCenter any longer as it is at the end of the line. The vCSA brings with it many, many benefits which I won't cover all of them here, but importantly this is the only platform moving forward. As of the next major release, there will not be an Windows vCenter offered, so the sooner you can get off the better.
