Hello
Today we tried to install VCSA 6.5
Unfortunately 65% and error
We tried to follow VMware Knowledge Base but we dont have vdcs folder in location /var/log/vmware/vdcs so we dont have vmware-vdcs.pid as well.
Had anybody similar issue?
Please post all the settings you used when deploying the vCSA.
Hello
All settings hm
static IP, dns working two ways, esxi 6.5.0 update 01 -5969303, VCSA 6.5.0 - 7070488,
we tried 3 times and every time the same error and every time folder is missing service content library stoped - impossible to turn it on via SSH
We tried once again and new error Starting VMware Identity Management Service we tried to do https://comunities.vmware.com/thread/544755 but no chance to continue
Is some VCSA 6.5.0 build which can be installed without any sad stories?
Can you post all the values you used when deploying this, please? Also, have you made sure the workstation from which you're deploying the vCSA and the target ESXi host have their times in sync?

For the third time, please post all the settings and values you used when deploying the vCSA. Without them we have no common starting point for further troubleshooting.
Could You pont what exactly do You need?
The values you used when you deployed the appliance, plus answers to earlier questions.
Hello I have written before
static IP, dns working two ways, esxi 6.5.0 update 01 -5969303, VCSA 6.5.0 - 7070488,
time was synced.
VCSA installed with time sync from ESXi,
No, the *exact values* you're using at every step in the installation process. Feel free to take some screenshots and post them here.
Stage 1
1 - start installer
2 - chosen embeded PSC
3 - ESXi chosen via FQDN cert accepted
4 - VM name - FQDN
5 - Deployment size Tiny storage default
6 - Enabled Thin Disk Mode
7 - System name - FQDN ip, subnet gateway DNS given correctly
8 - nslookup checked name of system resolved both direction
Sage 1 completed succesfully
Stage 2
1 - synchronize time with ESX1
2 - SSH enabled
3 - SSO domain default
4 - eror in 5% the same like here https://communities.vmware.com/thread/544755
5 - resume
6 - next error vpxd which I had wriiten before
It is amazing 7th time everytime the same values and now we have 100% stage 2 complete omg
Thank You everybody for support
Our happyness was only couple of hours
Stage 1
4 - VM name is the inventory name.
7 - Use FQDN and not IP.
Stage 2
1 - If you sync with ESXi, double check the time on ESXi is correct AND ALSO synced to the same source as the workstation FROM WHICH YOU ARE DEPLOYING THE APPLIANCE.
Try again and post back.
