VMware ESXI 6.5

Running VMware vCenter appliance and on one of my ESXI 6.5 hosts I have this warning when I view the host

When browsing the datastores they are all there ad functional

Other then restarting the ESXI Host is there any way to clear this message?

One thing that I could think about is if this alerts is on task and events or alert page, then try to acknowledge it and check .

Apart from this I dont think there is option . reboot is the only way .

Please consider marking this answer as correct and helpful if this helps you.

Gayathris,

No events or tasks listed about this.

I am guessing only a restart of the host will schedule that

Thank you,

FYI - rebooting does not clear the message - Hosts sees all data stores.

These are the messages I am working with:

The number of vSphere HA heartbeat datastores for this host is 0, which is less than required: 2

All shared datastores failed on the host colohpesxi05.alz-chicago.alz.org

No sollution yet

FYI - Solution for me was to remove the host from vCenter - add it back in - side effect was having to add the host back to the VDS and restablish the uplnks.
