Alarms

Hello,

We have two datacenters in our vCenter. We would like to use the default alarms for each datacentre. The problem is one group should receive alarms for one datacentre and another group should receive alerts for the other datacentre.

Is this possible? It seems that the alarms can only be modified at the top level thus meaning everyone will see ALL alarms?

You can try set new alarm at datacenter level instead of use default alarm from parent vCenter that cannot be changed on child objects... once you set new alarm on each datacenter, you can change the thresholds and actions for each alarm individually.
