After the upgrade the HBA are not longer accessible

After an Upgraded of ESX host from version 5.5 to 6.0.0.3380124 using the VMware ISO.

Physical server is a ProLiant DL 580 G5 Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz.  The HBA are Emulex Zephyr LightPulse Fibre Channel LPe 1150e adapter running version 10.7.170 of the code.  After the upgrade the HBA are not longer accessible.

Has anyone any ideas?
