Error: Failed to clone the volume mounted on '/' from <hostname>

we are in the process of migrating Physical Linux to Virtual Linux.

but it fails with the error "Error: Failed to clone the volume mounted on '/' from " i have attached the screen shot.

VMWare Vcenter Converter Standalone version - 4.0.1 Build-161434.

Linux OS version - RHEL 5.1.

did any one face this issue.

I also found one morediscussion where the issue is fixed after NTPD setting. but here it is different.

Please help me.

Can you try the same operation(s) with Converter 4.3?

If it fail the attach the logs from the task.

Sorry for the late reponse.

Problem was with hostname (fqdn). Problem was fixed when we tried with IP address.
