In Windows 10 I run two old apps that need Windows XP SP2 in a VMWare Workstation Player 12 instance, because previous attempts to install WinXP on more recent instances of VMWare Workstation Player failed.
Now Windows 10 informs me VMWare Workstation Player 12 is incompatible with current updates, so it needs to delete it.
So, does VMWare Workstation Player 16 support WinXP, and if so, how do I make that work? Or do I need to stop Windows 10 updates on this machine?
