Using P2V converter on vCenter driven setup

Hi Guys, I have a requirement to migrate a physical machine to a cluster that is controlled by a vCenter, which I have never tried. Can I user vCenter standalone converter to do this as

Connect to once of ESXi Nodes and do the migration or do I have to connect to vCenter server to do the migration

Thanks and Best Regards

Always connect to vCenter when you administer ESXi hosts managed by vCenter.

Also, I recommend that you try to migrate several times to another test machine with a small disk size for training.

Look at this article http://www.vmwarearena.com/vmware-converter-how-to-perform-p2v-and-v2v-migration/

Be prepared for the fact that during the test migration you will have to refer to the articles describing the specific technology of vmware
