Hi, I have just installed a Micron 9100 Pro in my server thats running ESXi. When I power the computer back up and look in the storage tab in ESXi 6.5 U1 it doesnt show up when I try to create a datastore on it. I then clicked on adapters and it shows up there as vmhba4 and not under devices either. So then I googled and found a vib for the drivers, installed and rebooted, still nothing. I then fired up ssh and consoled in. Ran the command. "esxcli nvme device list" and I get the following:
[root@localhost:~] esxcli nvme device list
HBA Name Status Signature
-------- ------- ---------------------
vmhba4 Offline nvmeMgmt-nvme00010000
Does anyone know how I can get this drive to show up?
