DataStore hearbeat region not updated since over a month ?

Dear all

noticed that the datastore hearbeat region is not updated over a month  , assuming these files update every few seconds , please advise if you have any suggestions or if my assumption is wrong.

The host-xx-hb files are not the heartbeat region. These files are used by HA to have at least one open file for each host, on which the hosts will maintain a file lock, which updates the heartbeat region on the datastore.
