Hi,
one of our customers is experiencing a crash of our software. First, he had this crash on a physical machine. We asked him to reproduce it in a VM, so he installed the same system (Windows Server 2003 Standard) into a VM and still could reproduce the crash. I asked him to send me the VM's disk so I could install dev tools and debug it. I started the VM and the application in it, but it does not crash.
The crash is caused by an Access Violation Exception. Is it something that could be hardware dependent? What would you try next? I am running out of ideas.
