Alternative to mob

Hi All,

I am searching for an alternative to view virtual center in mob. I am looking for a web interface (Iknow how to get this info with the API - pyvmomi for example)

to see all machines in vcenter with their name, datasrote etc and their moid.

I would like this tool to have a search capability for instance: get me all vms that are using datastore x or the hostname is y.

Do you know about something like that?

You could try this, it's specific to VI Java but does give you a browsing capability similar to that of MOB: http://www.doublecloud.org/2010/02/vijava-browser-a-great-tool-to-recommend/

Regarding what you're trying to retrieve, you can easily just write a script, like using vSphere SDK for Perl and just extract all that data and print it out or query it when you need it. If you know the vSphere API and know how to retrieve these properties, the task is pretty trivial on what you're looking for.
