Not sure what your actual question is, but...
The log files for a specific virtual machine are located in the same folder as that VM. They are named vmware.log, vmware-0.log, etc.
There is also a UI log for Workstation in general, usually located in %temp%\vmware-youruserid\vmware-ui-nnnnn.log
