workstation vs. fusion

Ok, here's an odd question but I run on a mac but I'm generally in fedora. I'm debating the purchase of workstation, but I wonder which product has better performance for the guest OS. I'm kind of thinking that workstation does because less overhead thanks to Linux, but I think I have better gpu drivers in OSX.

Any insights and opinions on the two products.

It depends: Fusion is aimed to run Windows in MacOS X, while Workstation - any/any.

That's a good point Smiley Happy

I'll be running other OS, maybe windows 7 but also other ones as well and if i had my druthers, I'd stay in fedora full time. I use adobe lightroom and since there's no linux counterpart I'm stuck with using osx (LR doesn't run in wine.)

Oh, I know. I actually got OSX up and running under workstation, though the performance was less then pleasing. Since windows runs much better under vmware, I'll probably stick with that.
