Hi,
I have a 6.0 workstion server with several VMs. Each VM has a lot of snapshots that I can't loose.
If I upgrade to 7.0 (I need Windows 7 official support), will I loose all snapshots or they will still be there and working ?
Thank you !
you will not loose any snapshots as you long as you do not upgrad virtual hardware of the existing VMs

and I can run VM with previous hardware version on 7.0 without problems ?
without problems ? ... honestly that is unknown - some things that worked without problems in 6.5 are still a bit buggy in WS 7 - especially USB.
Personally I would wait for next release 7.0.1 - by the way - why do you need official Windows 7 support ?

because where I'm working....it seems some people find this very important !
and they have already bought 7.0 and I must install it...
I will backup all VMs before doing it just to be sure
I do not know what "official support" means - it either works or it does not - to me thats all what counts 😉

they saw that windows 7 was "experimental" on 6.0...so...have to buy 7.0 ! 😛
