vmware workstation 6.0.4, windows xp host, opensuse 11.0 guest
I upgraded opensuse from 10.3 to 11.0 ( with 10.3 everything was good ). I had problems, and still have
with vmware-tools. I uninstalled the vm-open and vmware-open from opensuse that 11.0 installs by default,
reinstalled vmware-tools, but configuring vmware-tools doesn't create hgfs module and the copy-paste module ( errors ).
At first it says that gcc from compiled kernel is a different version from what I have installed.
I read posts on this forum and it seems I have to bypass this warning; they explain as well
how to patch vmware for 2.6.25 kernel but they refer to Opensuse 11.0 HOST not guest as I'm running
Does anyone has any clue ?
